You will never not have a story to tell at a birthday party or as an anecdotal punchline in a job interview if you've ever had a neighbor. No specifics, no grand soliloquy attached to that—simply, just a neighbor. There are so many different types of characters in this world, for lack of a better word, and odds are, you've lived next to one of the strange ones.

This isn't to say that you can't be the strange neighbor with weird quirks—you absolutely can. Just remember that every time you think of doing something questionable outside of your home, it should be smooth sailing for you here on out.

Enough about you. Let's talk about the neighbor featured in this next story, who very strangely mows six feet into a new homeowner's lawn for absolutely no reason.   • CrucialFusion Some neighbors are just so much fun. I had one who would trim the 1/4 of a sizable shrub that hung over his property line. Okay, message received - you like your plants tightly trimmed and don't appreciate my more relaxed schedule. I evened it out because that looked terrible. The next time he did it, I simply cut straight down through the shrub to remove the 1/4 that hung over.

  • maxrenn93 My shrubs are well within my property line and she even said she likes the shrubs. Her tying fishing line into them is probably 2 ft onto my property line. There is even a fence for the backyard and shrub continues into the front. She had to place the like to the middle of my fence and into the shrub.
